Who is the binge watching queen?

Who am I? That’s a secret I will never tell. No, that’s Gossip Girl. I am just me. Stealing what wordpress suggests: “vibrant, bold, and clean (really?), it’s a perfect canvas to tell your story”. Cool enough. Well, let’s put it this way: you can definitely tell me YOUR story. I am all ears, and eyes considering I would be reading it. Meanwhile I am sharing my story (or a small part of it) on here.

I’m the binge watching queen, but I am also a writer. Well, I am working on it. Meanwhile I can be contacted to collaborate as a content writer,  a proofreader, or even a translator (check out my Scribens LG section up here).

I am an amateur photographer and I like to play and get crazy with the Adobe Creative Cloud to create videos and short films. People call me “the Creative” so I believe I can easily and humbly say that… I am a creative. I love art in all its forms. I paint, I draw, I sing, I tried a thousand times to learn how to play my two guitars professionally but I can only play some chords, what else? I do some arts and crafts… I know I seem to be a little all over the place but that’s just not true.

I decided to actually create this blog after I got a haircut and I was blown away by my reaction and the reaction of those around me. It’s when I realized that my binge watching sessions were just part of a habit I have always had. First with books, then with TV-series. I can’t stand the wait, when I start reading or watching something, I have to reach the end, no matter what it costs… like staying awake more than 72 hours to finish a whole series!

Welcome to my therapy session and to my life, or at least to what I want to let out of it, to be part of this big bold world (that’s a progress, I used to say this “sick sad world” as in Daria, the tv-show on MTV). Why do I binge watch?  To get away from reality. At least for a little while…
